Job Summary
Leading a team of RN managers, the full-time Texas Licensed RN Director will direct long-term care management for members with physical and behavioral health needs, focusing on developing strategies for high-quality healthcare outcomes while working remotely and occasionally traveling to Austin or Houston for meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Provides leadership for the development and improvement of long-term care management processes and policies
- Sets goals for the care management team and oversees data and reporting metrics to ensure quality and cost-effective healthcare results
- Monitors long-term care member data to identify trends, improve performance, and ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Current Texas RN license or Compact Nursing License required
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with 7+ years of clinical nursing experience, including management experience
- 4+ years of direct RN managerial experience preferred
- Expert knowledge of industry regulations, policies, and standards preferred
- Experience in Value-Based Care Management, particularly in Medicaid/Managed Care programs preferred
