Texas Licensed Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

As the first engineer on the AI-Native Services team, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Senior AI Engineer will build and operate production agents, work closely with design customers to map workflows, and develop evaluation harnesses while influencing team growth and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate production agents and workflows, ensuring functionality and performance
• Collaborate with design customers to map workflows and create solutions based on live data
• Develop evaluation frameworks, including datasets and monitoring systems for agent performance

Required qualifications

• Experience building and operating at least one AI agent or agentic workflow in production
• Strong engineering judgment across models, APIs, data integrations, and observability
• Direct experience working with customers on discovery, implementation, or incident resolution
• Ability to decompose complex workflows into deterministic steps and define testing protocols
• Demonstrated production experience is prioritized over title or years in the field
