Managing moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will handle the full claim life cycle, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, and resolution, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzes coverage and settles claims in Healthcare Professional Liability
- Conducts thorough investigations to determine claims exposure and recommends settlement strategies
- Negotiates settlements with clients, attorneys, and Public Adjusters, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related claims experience
- Prior experience in specialty claims or ability to manage unique claims issues
- Licensed or able to obtain necessary licenses/certifications for claims handling
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Experience with claims and business software
