Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Senior Counsel will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to junior attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a case theme that effectively counters plaintiff strategies
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school
- Active bar license in Texas
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
- Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
