Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Counsel with 8+ years of insurance defense experience, the full-time position will independently manage complex litigation cases, develop effective defense strategies, and contribute to a collaborative team environment in Dallas, TX.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop compelling case themes and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Maintain routine communications with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys while working as part of a team
Required qualifications:
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Strong experience in conducting depositions and developing litigation strategies
