Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive power generation experience to manage electrical engineering projects from concept to delivery in a remote, long-term contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects, serving as a technical lead on complex engineering issues
- Develop and oversee power system designs, controls drawings, engineering calculations, technical reports, and project documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success and compliance with specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the power generation sector
- Proficiency in engineering software such as SKM or ETAP for system modeling and analysis
- Strong background in electrical system studies, detailed design work, and technical reporting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
