Texas Licensed Senior Structural Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Structural Engineer for a long-term contract position that offers remote work flexibility; the engineer will perform structural design and analysis, provide leadership to junior engineers, and collaborate within multi-disciplinary project teams in the power generation industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers while executing various structural engineering tasks
- Layout and detail entire projects or portions of projects under the supervision of the Engineer of Record
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 5+ years of experience as a structural engineer
- PE preferred, EIT required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software
- Experience with structural design codes and standards, including ASCE 7
