Texas Licensed Staff Accountant
Job Summary
To support the accounting team in a remote capacity, the full-time Texas Licensed Staff Accountant will compile and format large data files, record transactions in the accounting system, and maintain accurate accounting records while attending quarterly meetings in Plano, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Compile and format large data files and reports from partnerships
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual financial audits by gathering support and answering auditor questions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of experience in general ledger and month-end close; healthcare experience is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
