Texas Licensed Structural Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing design team, the fully remote Texas Licensed Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design, collaborate with team members, and take ownership of project scopes while ensuring adherence to building codes and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Competently perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design with minimal supervision
- Plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation and selection of engineering techniques and procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers while managing workload and project commitments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficient with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Proficient with structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
