Texas Licensed Structural Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic design team, the part-time Texas Licensed Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design, collaborate with various disciplines, and ensure quality control in a hybrid/remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Competently perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision
- Develop engineering judgment and problem-solving skills while managing workload and meeting project commitments
- Exhibit attention to detail by checking own work and performing calculation checks of other engineers' outputs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering
- Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Familiarity with structural engineering analysis software such as STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam is preferred
