Texas Licensed Technical Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support large-scale Medicaid modernization and interoperability initiatives, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Technical Business Analyst will translate complex Medicaid data and workflows into scalable FHIR-based solutions while collaborating with architects and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a FHIR-focused technical business analyst, translating state Medicaid business requirements into FHIR-aligned technical specifications
- Lead analysis and documentation for mapping Medicaid data to and from FHIR, ensuring compliance with CMS interoperability standards
- Produce detailed technical artifacts, including data mapping documents and API integration use cases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in healthcare or public sector systems
- Strong Medicaid domain expertise, including MMIS and state Medicaid operations
- Hands-on experience with FHIR (R4) in production or large-scale implementations
- Demonstrated experience in data translation between legacy Medicaid formats and FHIR
- Proven ability to work effectively in architecture-driven delivery models
