Job Summary
To provide after-hours support, the part-time Texas Licensed Telehealth RN Triage will manage incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers, assess patient needs using triage guidelines, and facilitate referrals to appropriate care resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from patients, physicians, and healthcare organizations
- Assess patients using the nursing process and software protocols to offer appropriate care options
- Facilitate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, and community resources
Required qualifications:
- Associates of Applied Science in Nursing
- Current RN license to practice professional nursing in Texas
- 5+ years of progressive clinical RN experience in an acute care setting
- Basic PC skills and typing skills of 30 WPM
- Excellent communication skills
