Job Summary
To support oncology services, the part-time Texas Licensed Telephonic Case Manager will manage electronic medical record abstraction, ensuring compliance with HIPAA while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately conduct electronic medical record abstraction and data entry into the electronic data capture tool
- Complete quality and accuracy testing in a timely manner as requested
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Required qualifications
- Active RN License required; OCN certification preferred
- Experience in oncology nursing and electronic medical chart abstraction
- Proficiency in navigating EHR databases
- Clinical or pharmaceutical experience, particularly in oncology settings
- Previous data analysis experience is a plus
