Job Summary
Providing remote Telepsychiatry services to inpatient psychiatric facilities in Texas, the part-time Texas Licensed Telepsychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, prescribe, and supervise treatment for assigned patients while collaborating with treatment teams and participating in quality improvement activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients, prescribing and supervising treatment in accordance with hospital bylaws
- Conduct assessments for admission to state hospitals or SSLC and round with the treatment team daily
- Be available for telemedicine duty during scheduled hours, providing consultations and completing necessary documentation
Required qualifications:
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Licensed or license eligible in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in general psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry, or geriatric psychiatry
- Completion of accredited training in relevant psychiatric specialties in the United States
