Texas Licensed Title Examiner
Job Summary
To efficiently process Title Insurance transactions, the remote Texas Licensed Title Examiner will ensure accuracy in title information, conduct title searches, and prepare commitments while providing exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Examine title searches and prepare accurate Base files and commitments, ensuring timely service
- Review and submit buyer deeds and mortgage documents for recording, ensuring compliance with closing instructions
- Calculate Title Insurance Premiums and maintain communication with internal and external customers to resolve issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of Texas title examination experience; multi-state experience is a plus
- Proven knowledge of title policies or the ability to learn quickly
- Experience with technology, including Integrity/Courthouse Direct Title plant & SoftPro preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
