Job Summary
Offering a fully remote opportunity, the Texas Licensed Toxicology Physician will conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases, providing evidence-based medical advisory opinions while working as a 1099 independent contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records, laboratory results, and toxicology reports to prepare clear clinical summaries
- Respond to client inquiries regarding toxicologic findings, diagnoses, and treatment options
- Evaluate the medical necessity and appropriateness of toxicology-related evaluations and treatments
Required qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Medical Toxicology or significant experience in toxicology
- Current, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in toxicology or a related specialty
- Expertise in reviewing medical records and providing evidence-based clinical opinions
