Job Summary

To represent commercial insureds in all phases of litigation, the full-time Texas Licensed Trial Attorney will manage moderate to high exposure General Liability cases while working remotely with access to a local office and support staff.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and try General Liability cases, including initial investigation and legal analysis
  • Conduct pre-trial discovery, hearings, and trials, while managing post-trial activities as necessary
  • Mentor less experienced attorneys and provide leadership and training across the organization
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctor and 7 or more years of experience in litigation
  • Member of the Texas State Bar in good standing
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools such as Lexis or Westlaw
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation
  • Proven track record of effective settlement and trial skills
