Job Summary

Independently managing a complex inventory of indemnity claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will perform claims investigations, direct medical management, and oversee litigation processes while working remotely from Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough claims investigations and assess compensability within 24 hours of new losses
• Direct medical care throughout the claim lifecycle and partner with case managers for early return-to-work strategies
• Negotiate and finalize claim settlements, including lien resolutions and pursuing subrogation from third parties

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Texas Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years without a degree
• Active Texas Workers' Compensation or all lines license required; multi-state preferred
• Working knowledge of Texas WC statutes and experience managing litigated claims
• Familiarity with claims management platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Professional designations such as AIC, ARM, or WCCP are a plus
