Job Summary
Managing a caseload of medical-only workers' compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will focus on timely investigations, medical bill reviews, and driving claims to resolution while working fully remote from Texas.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct three-point contact with injured workers, employers, and treating physicians to gather essential facts and assess compensability
- Direct medical care throughout the claim lifecycle and coordinate with medical review teams to ensure appropriate treatment and timely return-to-work outcomes
- Negotiate and finalize claim settlements, managing subrogation opportunities as needed
Required qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a WC Claims Assistant, Trainee, or Future Med Adjuster; or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six months of WC claims experience
- Active Texas Worker's Comp or all lines license required; multi-state preferred
- Familiarity with claims management platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Juris, ClaimCenter) preferred
- Working knowledge of Texas WC statutes and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret medical records
