Job Summary
Independently managing a complex inventory of indemnity claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will work remotely to investigate claims, direct medical management, and oversee litigation, ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and client guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Perform thorough investigations and assess compensability on new claims within 24 hours
- Direct medical care and manage treatment authorizations throughout the claim lifecycle
- Negotiate claim settlements and pursue subrogation from third parties
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Texas Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years without a degree
- Active Texas Workers' Compensation or all lines license required; multi-state preferred
- Working knowledge of Texas WC statutes and experience managing litigated claims
- Familiarity with claims management platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret medical records and IME reports
