Texas Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support the Ob/Gyn department, the fully remote Texas Patient Access Representative will ensure medical necessity compliance, verify eligibility, and post payments following in-person training, while providing excellent service to patients and healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Obtain and accurately enter demographic, insurance, and financial information from patients or guarantors
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, ensuring all notifications and authorizations are completed on time
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to facilitate financial counseling and payment arrangements

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or medical business office setting
• Must be a Texas resident
