Job Summary
Detail-oriented and knowledgeable, the full-time salaried Texas Sales and Use Tax Analyst will manage sales and use tax compliance, accounting, and technology across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate tax determination and timely filings while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing taxability analyses and complete month-end closing activities related to sales and use tax
- Support compliance by ensuring timely filing and payment of state and local sales and use taxes while monitoring nexus and regulatory changes
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within the indirect tax function and support tax research and audits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance, accounting, or related roles
- Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP platform
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
