Thai-English Translator and Editor

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Thai-English Translator and Editor, this remote freelance independent contractor position will manage the translation and editing of official documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications while meeting tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate Thai to English or English to Thai, delivering accurate translations
• Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with client-specific instructions and deadlines

Required qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship and current residence in the United States
• Native or highly proficient Thai and English language skills
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or equivalent preferred
• Two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor
• Access to up-to-date Windows software and the ability to work with standard document formats
