Therapy Access Specialist

Job Summary

Guiding new patients through the sales and healthcare reimbursement process, the remote Therapy Access Specialist will manage documentation collection, verify insurance benefits, and secure authorizations while developing a strong knowledge of company products.

Key responsibilities

• Guide new patients through the sales and healthcare reimbursement process
• Educate potential patients about the benefits and features of Cala Health devices and therapy
• Investigate patient insurance benefits and secure prior authorizations as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of medical insurance experience, preferably in a medical device company
• Knowledge of managed care industry and healthcare plans related to durable medical equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Salesforce preferred
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners
