Thermal Hydraulics Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct systems level analysis using codes such as SAS4A/SASSYS-1, SAM, or GOTHIC
- Perform subchannel analysis using codes like Pronghorn-Subchannel, DASSH, or COBRA TF
- Contribute to methods development and code qualification for core thermal hydraulics
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in thermal-hydraulics analysis for nuclear reactor systems
- Proficiency in one or more of the mentioned analysis codes (SAS4A/SASSYS-1, RELAP, Pronghorn-Subchannel, DASSH, COBRA-TF) or similar (TRACE, GOTHIC)
- Familiarity with methods development, code qualification, and verification/validation processes in nuclear thermal hydraulics
