Threat Intelligence Lead

Job Summary

Owning the threat intelligence strategy and execution, the full-time Threat Intelligence Lead will manage intelligence gathering on cyber threats targeting software supply chains, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to the wider cybersecurity community, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Canonical's threat intelligence strategy and OSINT research environments
• Identify and track targeted intrusion cyber threats through analysis of proprietary and open source datasets
• Collaborate across teams to inform on activity of interest and advise on mitigation strategies

Required qualifications

• Experience in threat intelligence or a similar leadership role
• Knowledge of the open source threat landscape and computer networking concepts
• Proficiency with OSINT tools such as Maltego and Shodan
• Experience using threat intelligence data to influence product development decisions
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
