Threat Intelligence Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time salaried Threat Intelligence Manager will oversee threat intelligence, threat hunting, and detection engineering, ensuring robust protection for over 12,000 customers against financial cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a remote team of analysts, hunters, and detection engineers, focusing on hiring, coaching, and developing talent
• Define and execute the intelligence program, delivering strategic and operational products while tracking relevant threat actors
• Develop and implement detection strategies across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms, driving hypothesis-driven threat hunts and utilizing automation for efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response, or detection engineering
• 3+ years of experience managing technical security teams, including hiring and developing personnel
• Deep knowledge of adversary tactics and frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK and the intelligence lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms and their query languages
• A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
