Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Threat Response Engineer will investigate detected threats, analyze and remediate security incidents on customer endpoints, and collaborate with various teams to enhance security strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform investigations into detected threats and utilize security products for threat analysis and remediation
- Provide detailed reports to customers regarding actions taken for environment cleanup and protection strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative methods for timely threat remediation
Required qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in responding to security events and threats
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Foundational understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Demonstrated curiosity and experience integrating AI tools to enhance workflows
- Professional communication skills with the ability to provide clear technical documentation
