Job Summary
Working fully remote, the full-time Time Entry Compliance Analyst will ensure compliance with client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) by auditing time entries and invoices, collaborating with billing teams to minimize audit exposure, and delivering training to timekeepers on compliance practices.
Key responsibilities
- Review daily time entries and pre-bills for compliance, recommending necessary corrections
- Partner with billing teams to prepare and submit appeals for disallowed fees, contributing to financial performance
- Analyze and implement client OCGs into the timekeeping system, creating guides and training for timekeepers
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a paralegal or attorney in insurance-related work, or in a billing compliance role
- Advanced knowledge of client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and legal billing rules
- Experience with Elite 3E and Laurel preferred
- Strong analytical skills to interpret audit findings and craft persuasive narratives
- Exceptional communication and coaching skills to influence behavior across all levels
