Tools Technical Lead

Job Summary

As a fully remote, full-time Tools Technical Lead, the successful candidate will direct the technical approach and architecture decisions for enterprise tools in a federal healthcare environment, ensuring effective administration, integration, and continuous improvement of Agile development and DevSecOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the enterprise tooling stack, overseeing the Tools Management team's technical approach and troubleshooting complex issues
• Administer and maintain key tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and identity management systems while supporting operations and maintenance activities
• Lead troubleshooting for tooling-related incidents and ensure comprehensive documentation for knowledge management and operational continuity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in supporting enterprise tools, systems engineering, or DevSecOps environments with technical leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and identity management systems like MiniOrange and OKTA
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to document and transfer complex technical knowledge effectively
