Job Summary
Leading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for the TPA entity, the full-time TPA Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with internal teams to support TPA initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own the close by preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Apply ASC 606 to TPA contracts to accurately recognize revenue and assess performance guarantees
- Reconcile and audit large data sets, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting or financial operations experience
- Preferred experience in a TPA, health insurance, or broader insurance environment
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
