Trade Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To support U.S. defense work and ensure compliance with trade regulations, the full-time remote Trade Compliance Manager will guide bid processes, manage government contract obligations, and oversee import/export compliance while collaborating with various teams across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the business from bid through contract performance by reviewing solicitations, proposals, and contracts to identify applicable trade provisions
• Resolve complex customs questions, including tariff classification and export licensing decisions, while overseeing compliance with regulations
• Lead audits and investigations, manage trade systems, and develop training for local teams to implement new requirements effectively

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, logistics, finance, customs administration, or a related field
• 10 or more years of progressively responsible trade compliance experience in multinational manufacturing or similarly regulated environments
• Experience making and documenting complex compliance decisions and explaining them to business leaders
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or global trade management systems and data analysis tools
