Traffic Agent

Job Summary

Responsible for gathering international documentation and arranging domestic delivery, the full-time Traffic Agent will coordinate with clients and external parties to ensure customs releases are obtained while maintaining strong relationships in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare traffic files and instructions for delivery orders, ensuring submission of the Bill of Lading when required
• Coordinate with Client Import Analyst and external parties to obtain missing documents and customer requests for customs release
• Track and trace shipments to avoid potential storage liabilities and confirm completion of deliveries

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Familiarity with customs release processes and international transportation
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills
• Strong negotiation and client service skills
