Traffic Agent

Job Summary

Responsible for gathering international documentation and arranging domestic delivery, the full-time Traffic Agent will coordinate with clients and external parties to ensure customs releases and manage shipment tracking in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare traffic files and instructions for delivery orders, ensuring the Bill of Lading is submitted as required
• Coordinate with Client Import Analyst and external parties to obtain missing documents and customs releases
• Track and trace shipments to avoid storage liabilities and confirm delivery completion

Required qualifications

• 1 year of experience in traffic or forwarding methods and procedures
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Familiarity with the customs release process and international transportation
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills
• Strong negotiation and client service skills
