Traffic Control Permit Specialist
Job Summary
To support engineering initiatives, the full-time or part-time Traffic Control Permit Specialist will process permit applications, design traffic control plans, and collaborate with engineers while working remotely within the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Perform research to determine appropriate traffic control plans for unique projects
- Analyze and modify current designs to meet customer needs
- Prepare and maintain business permit drawings and utilize mapping databases
Required qualifications
- AA Degree or Technical Degree in Drafting, GIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Two years of AutoCAD experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple drafting projects
- Experience with public right-of-way and utility permits is a plus
