Job Summary
To support the CDC in developing eLearning courses and video scripts, the full-time Training Specialist will create course outlines and storyboards, develop training resources, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop eLearning course outlines and storyboards using the A.D.D.I.E. instructional design model for multiple courses annually
- Create job aids and self-study guides, ensuring compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Program Section 508-compliant eLearning courses in Adobe Captivate or similar software and upload materials to CDC-approved LMS
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 4-7 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development
- Proficiency in eLearning content authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
