Transaction Legal Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing legal and execution team, the part-time Transaction Legal Counsel will manage the transaction lifecycle for private-market transactions, including drafting and negotiating legal documents, overseeing KYC/AML processes, and coordinating global closing workflows, all in a remote contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for secondary transactions and NAV lending
- Interpret fund documentation to identify transferability guidelines and closing constraints
- Manage global closing workflows by coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely execution
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in transactional legal, compliance, or financial services roles
- Strong familiarity with US and/or UK law-governed agreements in a cross-border context
- Experience managing multi-party transaction execution and closing processes
- Working knowledge of KYC/AML and regulatory compliance in financial transactions
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
