Transaction Legal Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal and execution team, the part-time Transaction Legal Counsel will manage the transaction lifecycle for private-market transactions, including drafting legal documentation and coordinating closing processes, all while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for secondary transactions and NAV lending
• Interpret fund documentation to identify transferability guidelines and closing constraints
• Manage global closing workflows by coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely execution of legal and operational deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in transactional legal or financial services roles
• Strong familiarity with US and/or UK law-governed agreements in a cross-border context
• Experience managing multi-party transaction execution and closing processes
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML and regulatory compliance in financial transactions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
