Translational AI Scientist
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time salaried Translational AI Scientist, this remote position focuses on designing and deploying AI-enabled systems for scientific reasoning, hypothesis generation, and evidence synthesis in translational science.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy agentic AI systems to support scientific reasoning and evidence synthesis for translational questions
- Build systems that recommend experimental designs and assess translatability of human-derived signals in model systems
- Partner with target biology and experimental teams to ensure usability of recommended designs and integrate outcomes back into the system
Required qualifications
- PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 5+ years, or Bachelor's with 7+ years in computer science, computational biology, or related fields
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based agentic systems in production settings
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including Python, version control, and reproducible workflows
- Experience integrating multi-modal biological data using AI-enabled approaches
- Familiarity with databases and infrastructure behind research AI systems
