Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing power business group, the full-time OE Transmission Line Engineer will lead transmission line project designs, ensuring compliance with client standards and overseeing project discussions, while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in project team meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project progress
- Review client submittals and comprehensive construction packages for constructability and compliance
- Oversee project implementation, including verification of foundations, structures, and equipment installation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in transmission line design
- In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
- High proficiency in PLS-CADD software
- Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred
