Job Summary
Leading transmission line project designs, the full-time OE Transmission Line Engineer will oversee project discussions, review client submittals for constructability, and ensure compliance with standards while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in project team meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Review transmission line designs and construction packages for compliance with client standards
- Oversee project implementation, including verification of foundations and equipment installation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in transmission line design
- In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and related codes and standards
- High proficiency in PLS-CADD
- Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred
