Leading transmission line project designs, the full-time OE Transmission Line Engineer will oversee project discussions, review compliance with client standards, and utilize structural design software, with a hybrid or remote work option available for qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in project team meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Review client submittals for constructability and compliance with standards
- Oversee project implementation, ensuring verification of foundations and equipment installation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in transmission line design
- In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and applicable codes
- High proficiency in PLS-CADD
- Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred
