Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic EPC Solutions Team, the full-time Transmission Line Engineer will design overhead and underground transmission systems for major utility clients, utilizing PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, while collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structure spotting and design in PLS-CADD to ensure compliance with NESC or GO95 standards
- Design and analyze various transmission structures using PLS-POLE, including loading verification and foundation analysis
- Prepare comprehensive construction packages and coordinate with construction teams on material specifications and procurement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience in electric utility transmission line design with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Candidates must be located in the United States to be considered
