Leading a team of engineers and designers, the contracted-to-full-time Transmission Line Team Lead will oversee the design, analysis, and management of transmission line projects focused on 115kV systems and above, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transmission line design projects from conception through completion
- Provide technical oversight on the design of overhead transmission lines (115kV and higher)
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in transmission line design, with direct experience on 115kV systems
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related design software
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (NESC, IEEE, ASCE)
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing technical teams
