Job Summary

Evaluating and adjudicating complex claims, the full-time remote Transportation Claims Adjuster will oversee investigations, prepare detailed reports, and negotiate with insurance representatives while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjudicate complex claims, including those in litigation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of bodily injury claims involving company vehicles or drivers
• Prepare detailed file summaries for internal reporting and large loss assessments, maintaining accurate documentation

Required qualifications

• Post-secondary education in an Insurance program or related field
• 2+ years of experience in trucking, claims, or safety and compliance preferred
• Experience with commercial lines and transportation liability
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and remain calm in crisis situations
