Job Summary

Evaluating and adjudicating complex claims, the full-time Transportation Claims Adjuster will manage bodily injury claims, negotiate with insurance representatives, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjudicate complex claims, including those in litigation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of bodily injury claims involving company vehicles or drivers
• Prepare detailed file summaries for internal reporting and large loss assessments, ensuring accurate documentation of all pertinent information

Required qualifications

• Post-secondary education in an Insurance program or related field
• 2+ years of experience in trucking, claims, or safety and compliance preferred
• Experience with commercial lines and transportation liability
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and stay calm in crisis situations
