Transportation Claims Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Transportation Claims & Subrogation Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage commercial transportation claims, investigate liability, and negotiate recoveries while supporting self-insured operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and manage commercial transportation claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and liability
- Investigate accidents and determine liability using various documentation and evidence
- Identify and initiate subrogation and recovery opportunities, negotiating with insurers and third parties
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of claims experience, preferably in commercial auto, trucking, or transportation
- Strong hands-on experience with subrogation and claims recovery
- Proven negotiation experience with insurers, adjusters, and attorneys
- Experience with reserving, settlement evaluation, and litigated claims
- Strong knowledge of claims investigation and liability assessment
