Transportation Coordinator
Job Summary
Managing communication with a fleet of 180 to 300 drivers, the full-time remote Transportation Coordinator will coordinate off-hour operations, troubleshoot driver issues, and monitor load statuses using satellite and telephone networks.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously process messages from drivers and monitor load statuses
- Authorize driver expenses and assist with personal and safety issues
- Troubleshoot various driver-related problems including routing and load assignments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Transportation/Logistics, Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience preferred
- Six months to one year of previous dispatch experience preferred
- Mid-range AS400 and PC computer experience preferred
