Transportation Coordinator
Job Summary
To elevate logistics careers, the remote contract Transportation Coordinator will track freight, collaborate with supply chain teams, and maintain customer relationships while ensuring on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Track daily inbound and outbound freight using system tracking tools and perform timely carrier follow-ups
- Collaborate with corporate supply chain teams and third-party carriers to secure freight coverage and prevent service failures
- Document and manage reason codes, resolve EDI 214 errors, and assist with carrier portal training and setup
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
- 2+ years of customer service experience within a manufacturing or transportation environment
- Proficiency in web-based systems, including SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
