Job Summary

To develop state-of-the-art technology-based transportation solutions, the full-time remote Transportation Systems Data Engineer will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to create analytics, machine learning models, and cloud-based data architectures while processing large-scale transportation datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop transportation data analytics and machine learning solutions for traffic operations and safety analysis
• Design and maintain data pipelines and cloud-based architectures to support transportation analytics
• Create interactive dashboards and decision-support tools to visualize data and communicate findings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience analyzing large-scale transportation and mobility datasets
• Proficiency in developing data pipelines and working with cloud-based data platforms
• Experience in creating dashboards and data visualizations for technical results
• Demonstrated participation in transportation research or technical organizations
